What is this site?
aiediting.news is a simple home for AI video editing news and tools. Mark Romero runs it.
You can read his rankings, short news notes, and a page for each tool he has finished testing.
Who is Mark?
Mark Romero is a video editor. He posts editing lessons on YouTube as THA Creative Guru. He also writes this site.
The rankings here are his, from tools he tests himself.
How are ratings made?
Mark tries the tool himself. Then he scores three things: price, output, and whether it is worth it. He also marks yes or no for a fourth question: do you still need editing software?
A tool page goes live only when those are filled in. He has not published scores yet.
This draft draws the bars on a 1 to 10 scale. A higher bar means a higher score. He can change that scale later.
How do affiliate links work?
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, Mark may earn a commission. You should not pay extra because of that.

Do I need editing software?
It depends on the tool. Some AI tools still need an editor, like Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. Some do not.
Mark marks this as a yes or no after he tests a tool. It is not a score. If he has not tested it, this site does not guess.
How often is news posted?
News notes are planned for about twice a week.
If there is no real news, the page stays empty. We do not post filler to fill the calendar.
